Founded in June 2023 by local mother-and-daughter team Letetia and Kayla, Luxe Hair Lounge is proudly locally owned and operated in Blenheim. As the original founders, we bring 47 years of combined hairdressing experience across cutting, colouring, styling, treatments and hair transformations.
We pride ourselves on listening to our clients, creating looks that suit their individual style, and making every visit relaxed, welcoming and enjoyable. Known for our friendly personalities, kindness and a good laugh, we love making everyone feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door.

Kayla (Co-Owner):
I have been in the hairdressing industry for 9 years starting out at the age of 15 years, I had the opportunity in 2015 to compete in the Schwarzkopf apprentice of the Year and won that title.
I am passionate about my work and enjoy anything to do with colours. My main goal when people sit in my chair is making them feel their absolute best.
When I'm not in salon you will find me spending time with my 2 young boys and partner amongst family and friends.
Letetia (Co-Owner):
Over the years both Kayla and I have a combined 41 years experience in all aspects of hairdressing, styling, perms, cutting and colouring. Myself 32 years and my daughter Kayla 9 years.
Over this time we have been privileged enough to connect with so many amazing people.
We pride ourselves in listening to our clients needs and wants and working with them, transferring their visions into reality.
It maybe a new style cut and blow wave, adding a pop of colour, foils, highlights, soft body wave or a glamorous blow wave for a special occasion.

I had messaged Kayla to get her opinion on a hair do I wanted. She gave me amazing advice and put a lot of time and effort into talking me through my options. I booked into the salon the next week. From the moment I sat in the chair Kayla was amazing! We choose out colours and she really listened to exactly what I wanted, I had asked her to cut my hair aswel but I was very particular about how much, she has definitely earned my trust! The cut was perfect. By the end of my appointment she had completely transformed my hair to exactly what I wanted! Kayla recommended some products for me to try to help with styles I was wanting to practice and achieve, she then followed up a week later and asked how my hair was going and if the products were working.
